I watched a documentary this week, about people who were made to watch a very scary video on a headset monitor. After watching it for sometime, the narrator was saying that this triggers the fear receptor in the brain. Understandably.
The person became on edge, and ultra stimulated to the senses. A guy then dropped a cashew nut on the viewers toe, and he nearly jumped out of his skin.
I think a few of us can empathise and understand his (over) reaction.
The point being, maybe it is good to take / see things as they are. This has helped me come to terms with some situations.
