Anxiety and airplanes ...

So I've been traveling since I was a kid . And I remember I was always scared but suppressed my fears . Now that I have a full blown anxiety disorder my anxiety is overwhelming when I'm on planes . The last time I was on one which was in December , I had a panic attack . No one was there to help me , if anything the flight attendants were very rude . I'm going away Thursday for a long weekend . Anyone also have bad anxiety with traveling ? And or does anyone have any tips ?

Good luck, nightmare !!

I had to travel to my home town which was a 10 hours flight and i was extremely anxious. I wanted to have something to calm me from the doctors but didn't want to feel too drowsy and the side effects along side as well. So i looked into dr bach remedies he has mouth drops and sweets you can chew that calm you. I also looked at articles online that made me feel better about flying for example how rare it is to actually crash or even have any kind of accident it is more likely you'll have a car accident than a accident flying I would then screen shot these articles so i could read it on the plane. I downloaded music and made a playlist of my favourite songs so i could listen to on the plane and i had a lavender spray that i would spray whenever i would feel anxious. lavender is known to calm you. good luck with flying I'm sure you will be fine

its no problem. its so difficult i was always scared as a child and a adult about flying but since I've discovered anxiety its heightened a lot and knowing i feel anxious on the plane sets my anxiety off. let me know how your trip goes and I'm glad my tips have helped you.
