Hey guys, I'm kinda new to all this anxiety feeling of loss and dread of sorrow. I've always had irrational thoughts since I was a kid but, I've never actually paid any attention to them...That is until now. As a 21 year-old I've been noticing the ongoing problem I've had for so long but never told anyone...

Hi! Well done for recognising your thoughts as irrational. It's a great starting point.

It's a great idea to get yourself seeing a counsellor to work through where these thoughts have originated and help you combat them so they don't have a significant impact on your life.

Take care xoxo

Whoa, I see I have a long way to go, you're much stronger than I am right now, keeping one's negative thoughts in check and just forgetting about them takes a lot of practice. Also thanks for listening, it really means a lot thank you...

Overthinker amd analyser here too . Working with a therapist helps , it's about going back to the root cause and gaining healthier views to life . Like you I've been anxious since a child and you carry those beliefs to adulthood . You can keep pushing those thoughts out but you need to address them and replace them .

Me again Anxious, Some people will be farther along in their journey than you are, it doesn't mean they are stronger. It takes time and courage to let that panic or fear run through you. The more you face it the less power it has over you. Anxiety is a liar, it will make you feel sick and afraid and helpless. Those things are not true . You can still live your life and tell your anxiety to do it's worst.Eventually you will conquer it. Pam
