So I'm a female, 15 years old, and last night I fainted. Let's start from the beginning.
Earlier that day I was at a kitchen shop with my mom, and I hit my finger on a sharp knife that was on display, my finger started bleeding, I suddenly felt a head rush, I felt all dizzy, but then seconds later I felt normal again as I put a bandaid over my cut. Later that night, I took the bandage off, and I was as laying in bed trying to fall asleep, when i noticed my finger was bleeding again, I rushed out of my bed to my parents room where the bandages were kept. My mom was awake and helped me put the bandage on. Then I got a really powerful head rush, I couldn't see anything and I felt all dizzy, thats when i fainted, i didnt even realize i was falling to the ground, thankfuly my mom caught me. I dont think i was unconsious because i remeber thinking my mom was dragging me, although really she was helping me to the ground. My mom told me i fainted and I took deep breaths since I was breathing rapidly. After wards I felt confused and my head hurt a little.
I'm thinking maybe I have a fear of blood? I know sometimes people faint at the sight of blood, but I have never been scared of blood, and have never fainted at the sight of it, but it is possible I suppose. Another Case is maybe lack of sleep, since I have been having 5-6 hours of sleep lately. Or I could of just gotten up to fast causing a head rush that took me to the ground.
But I'm quite worried it could be a heart disorder or something like that as I have done some reaserch of fainting and what it could mean. I have anxiety and I can't stop worrying about. I really hope it's nothing serious. Is there anyone with a similar experience? Or anyone who could help me figure out why I fainted. That'd be great, once again I can't stop worrying!
