Well it's Christmas Eve and my anxiety is back yet again. Had work today it was pretty easy going now at home and I'm experiencing shortness of breath and have been experiencing chest pains since yesterday. I'm trying to keep myself busy and trying not to focus to much on it... These symptoms are just so intense you get so worried & so scared it's just hard to take your mind off of it when it's happening. I'm also experiencing acid reflux and I think it makes all of my symptoms one million times worse. I hope everyone has a great holiday and a happy new year coming!! πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽ…πŸ»

Hi Mloanddb, I think you are going to see that a lot of us are experiencing anxiety this weekend. Trying to be what we are not comfortable with is stressing. The acid reflux could give you the chest discomfort that you are experiencing. However, if this is something new, it's always best to check with your doctor. (yes even on Christmas Eve, someone will be on call) Try to find time for yourself tonight. Take time to breathe deeply and bring your shoulders down. Sounds like you need some quiet time. We give it to our children but forget adults need it as well. Hope you feel better soon. Put anxiety on the back burner tonight and sit back and enjoy this special time of year. Take care.

Oh I get muscle spasms way to often. I actually had one in the summer time I immediately went to the ER they looked at me like I was crazy for coming there for that. I was worried it just felt weird. I hope things calmed down for you since this last post.

Merry Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ

Boy am I right there with you. Shortness of breath, shooting pains in my chest, feeling of dread. It's my first Christmas without my ex. So it's just my daughter and I. I keep thinking something awful will happen and it will scar her for life. We have no family here and few friends. My ex left us here and moved to another state. Sigh. I keep thinking.... just get through until Monday... don't spaz out and drag your child to the er on Christmas! Hope we all feel better soon!

I'm sorry to hear all of that, I have the same thoughts as you trust me. I always think the worst is going to happen & im going to leave my 13 year old without a mother. Anxiety is like one of the worst thing any human can experience. The shortness of breath and the chest pains scare the living shit out of me! All I can do when it's happening is keep myself busy and hopefully it passes it seems the more we pay attention to it, it stays around longer. I hope you have a merry Christmas!! πŸŽπŸŽ„

I'm finding meditation is really helping, at least for a few hours a day. I hope that if I keep it up it, the effects will last longer each day. Merry Christmas to you as well. We can do this!

Oh when I have that don't even get me started on how bad things can get. I can totally relate to you 100%

I feel like pure death 2 weeks before during & like a week after. Im sure she definitely may have a stomach bug, it seems everyone at my job was sick so now that definitely is going around.

Anxiety can play with your mind it's absolutely horrible I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Try to have a Merry Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ
