I always seem to get that awful nervous feeling in my stomach. Hard to explain but I'm sure you can understand.
It's quite strong this evening and uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice on how I can relax. I'm not thinking about anything and breathing exercises don't work for me
Hi andrewtxland, no need to explain the feeling. We all contend with that at one time or another. Actually, I have been experiencing that nervous feeling in my stomach all day. I use deep breathing all the time whether I'm feeling stressed or not. However you are right, we need something more than that at times. What would be helpful is to go on YouTube and type in Audio Relaxation/Meditation Deep breathing. If you listen to one of the videos for 10-15 minutes that should help calm your body and mind. Of course it's not a permanent fix but will at least give you a respite from the feeling. Knowing where that nervousness is coming from may help you in addressing the issue which in turn will calm the feeling.
