Good Evening

Hey everyone.. I went to an after hour, had 2 mixed drinks with 2 cups if water. I had a great time until I started to wind down and now I'm feeling anxious/fearful etc. Also my Hubby is away until Monday so I'm going to be alone. This is my first time not being with him in almost 2 years. I guess I'm just venting but I'm tired of feeling afraid and I don't think it's normal. I was never like this before.

Hi

Alcohol intensified anxiety for me. It was the same as you, I had a few drinks and all was fine until the party was over. I could feel it winding down and that feeling just sent me into a panic. I never had a drink again.

I am sure you are missing hubbie too.

Just know your not alone and this will

pass.

Hi Thank You. Yes I'm missing my babe but I'm also glad he's getting away. I was supposed to go too but I really want him to get a break from me lol.

I hear you and totally understand. Hubby is going away in the near future for a wk end and I HATE being alone, my mind goes wild and it's a fight to keep panic down. I remember once in CBT class this came up and one person, asked if I'd ever been alone before? Yes! Did I live though it? Yes! still it can be a challenge for those of us with anxiety and panic.

So true. I'm not so worried about being alone, just a little. I'm more worried about him and hoping He will be ok.

whereas I worry, "what if something happens to me when I'm here alone ie a heart attack or a stroke" what ifs......most men like to get away on their own. I speak from 48 yrs of marriage lol

Relax honey your just missing your hubby and feeling abit insucure right now and after not being on your own once in 2 years ,I would think it's quite normal.

Thing is we tend to over think things more when we are isolated and alone .

Your going to be fine and he will be right back by your side in 2 days if you want to chat I'm here for a while ok

Regards.
