Does anyone else feel dizzy li...
Yes. All the time.
I see you asked the same question 10 days ago. Why ask it again?
Chest pain and dizziness seem to be 2 of the commonest symptoms with health anxiety.
Medication may help but there is a risk of side effects.
If it persists and you haven't already spoken to your GP, it may be worth doing so
Yes I know I've asked the same question but sometimes it helps me feel better hearing that other people are feeling what I am
That I'm the only one helps, I've been to my doctor lots of times and was given meds but I'm trying not to take them I'm trying natural alternatives it's just taking longer then I hoped
Sonia1205, I sometimes ask the same questions too its like you say, sometimes it helps to hear a little reassurance from fellow sufferers, it's so comforting to be told now n again that your symptoms are not uncommon n that others understand, so come here whenever you like sonia even if you've asked the same questions before, doesn't matter, we're hear to offer support if we can, hope you will find some comfort n peace soon, big hugs xxxx
But it also perpetuates and reinforces your symptoms. The more you talk and write about it , the less (not more) likely it is to settle. You are in danger of creating this into a chronic unsolveable problem otherwise.
Yes it does Goldfish_ but some sufferers feel completely alone etc, none of us here truly know each others private circumstances and I for one sometimes feel unsettled as I have no live in partner, but regardless of this I believe that the cure lies within having complete acceptance of all unpleasant symptoms, and allow time to pass, but that doesn't mean that in the meantime we can't repeat questions, to be honest I sometimes even forget what questions ive asked haha (menopausal) xx
Yes that's my worry that increasing my ruminating on symptoms which I cant cure will result in isolation from the world outside as I sink into my sad little burrow with just my ipad and an anonymous forum to talk to.
It can feel very isolating Goldfish_ your so right there, I just hope that one day we can come here n share our recovery stories with each other, that would be so wonderful, in the meantime we just have to do our best to stay strong n support.each other, big hugs to ya Goldfish_ keep posting n hoping, god bless xxx
If I recover, I hope I will be too busy to visit this site. Just like the Happiness forum which has so few posts!
Well I'm sure that would go without saying but I'd still like to share a recovery story with the people here who have been so kind n caring, I've truly found all of you so supportive since joining, xxx
This is me right now too, everyday I'm dizzy n light headed, I'd rather have pain symptoms than this! it's a nightmare, its so scary too, I can totally sympathize xx
Yes if rather have a site body part or I just hate head symptoms they trip me out I can't concentrate it's too hard to push through when your head doesn't feel right. I've been feeling like that all day today I don't even know how to help myself
Me too, head sensations/symptoms are really awful, they're scary n kinda affect everything, dizziness n feeling drunk is one major issue for me at the moment. then every now n then I get the adrenaline rush surging through my tummy n chest, phew! it's all so exhausting!
Big hugs to all fellow sufferers xxx
You can also be experiencing vertigo .
Yes I always feel drunk or high I hate it!
Have you taken any antibiotics in recent months? some of them can cause it. LMK.
Yes I feel like that and saw the balance centre recently about it. they said I have BPV and moved my head about a bit to put it right. they did say it might need doing a few times. I suffer with anxiety too. Hate both. ask your doctor if you need assessing about a balance disorder.
Vestibular rehabilitation exercises have been shown to be effective and you can do them yourself.
Have tried them?
I am so confused on what I have and it means I don't understand who I am, is that true? I'm scared of everything its gotten so bad I'm doing ECT. I wake up in the morning feeling groggy and anxious and not even sure what to do.
hi Agora yes its outpatient ECT. and Im scared.
I'm afraid of being simply afraid of everything for the rest of my life. I wish so much that I can connect and know who I am and have confidence instead of feeling so helpless.
so I've been to ECT. I don't remember what happens during the time they put me out. ECT starts very early in the morning, they give me medication to sleep and then I've recalled waking up at home laying down. Afterwards I've slept most of the time and I can't remember anything that happend that morning. Today's ECT is the first time I remember when I woke up in the hospital. Every time I get a really strong headache andremain tired for the rest of the day, mainly sleeping. I think it may be working..
