I'm slowly losing my mind.

Hey everyone, it's been quite some time since I've posted last... I have health/death anxiety and I am 99% sure my heart is going to give out one day soon, and I'm only 21 yo male. A few months back i found something else with my heart to fuel this crippling anxiety, and that's this strange fluttering sensation that I feel in my chest and then in my neck... it almost feels like flem? Not to mention this strange off balance feeling that comes and goes on occasion, it literally feels like gravity increases...Anyways, I've ended up in the ER a lot... where they've taken blood work EKG, ECG, ultrasound of my heart, holter monitor, and stress test. All the tests come back inconclusive, with no sign of any problem. OK, that's fine... but my heart rate racing out of nowhere, the pains in my chest and arm and neck and head and pressure behind my eyes and the fluttering is all real and all still something i deal with on a day to day basis. Quite honestly, I'm so disappointed I've spent the past year worrying about dying just to be alive today... No matter what I try, whether it be daily meditation, beta blockers, nothing helps the symptoms and the constant headache. I want to speed up the process myself if this is how the rest of my life is going to pan out.. this is my cry for help.

I hope I don't offend you...but first off, I feel your pain fully. I am battling over 10+ years of this c***. What I can say though is Pray, have faith. God is with you and so are we here on this website. I hope you find relief. My heart goes out to you. Be well.

Crying helps a ton too...do not hold in emotion. Cry it out my friend. It calms the palpitations, or arythmias. Funny videos helps too. Laugh more...you are going to get through this. ☺

I appreciate the comment, it's nice to not feel alone. Anxiety can make you feel like you're in a deep dark chasm somewhere in the middle of nowhere where no one can hear you, see you, or understand you.

Theres more than you think going through the same as you!

Relaxation / deep breathing helps.

Take your mind off things - sing / recite a poem (if only in your head)
