Hi appayet24. Sorry you have been through that.Panic attacks are horrible to go through. The body does so many things-hyperventilate, shakes, feel you cant breathe. Just feel like a nervous wreck. Im curious to what kind of a funny taste you have in your mouth? Hope you have been feeling better

If you have an understanding psychiatrist or Dr, ask for some loazapam. It's really important that you sleep x

Hi

I have had this happen to me and I get like a metallic taste in my mouth and feel sick too. Doctor says it is all to do with my anxiety and that it is nothing to worry about. Anxiety cause all sorts of weird tastes and feelings, I know exactly how you feel.

I get so many WEIRD feelings that I think are going to turn into a seizure. I've been getting them for two years, I've never had a seizure. The bad taste in your mouth is probably just anxiety.

Please please please don't take lorazepam or any other Benzo. They are highly addictive substances and are used to treat withdrawl symptoms from those withdrawling from heroin. I was perscribed a small dose for nocturnal panic attacks. It made my body feel weird and my arms hard to move. Within 24 hours of a single dose I experienced withdrawl symptoms - shaking, sweating, nausea, and more panic attacks. Unfortunately I thought it was my anxiety and took more. It took 5 months before I realized it was the drug. I only took the smallest dose a few times a week, as needed. It's dangerous and doctors irresponsibility perscribed it as a safe, as needed drug. Since I have met numerous people who went through the same thing I did. Some took it multiple times a day for years. It took them a very long time to withdrawl. Stay away from benzos. Bottom line. Look into an anti-anxiety like an ssri (lexapro, Zoloft, etc.)

I know the panic your are experiencing and it's miserable. I have made several post of coping strategies that you can go back and read by clicking on my name. Know that you aren't alone and you will turn this around. It won't always be like this. Live in the now, not in the "what-ifs" of tomorrow. Take care!
