Iam in my emotions right now. Iam sad that my anxiety is coming back and iam Scared iam going to Die from a stroke due to heart palps or my high cholesterol. I pray that this all gets better for all of us who suffer from panic attacks..... I hope i get a good nights sleep

Hey whereishope!! I haven't seen you post anything in a while so I was guessing you have been doing good.. but I have read that anxiety makes your cholesterol go up.. im only 140 lbs (skinny) and my cholesterol was 223 slightly high but I heard that anxiety does make it go up. ..
Wow... I didnt even know that smh anxiety does ruin ever thing. Haha i have been doing great till these past 4 days anciety is haunting me again. Iam still on the xanax and lexapro. But i see my GP in 3 weeks so i cant wait to redo the blood tests
Go to the ER and explain what you are feeling so you can get help and feel better, its a nasty feeling ma i really think you should go you will get a EKG and meds to help you.. if you get chest pain,tightness in your head and upper back area tell them that it will get you seen asap and get a EKG done first thing.. go to the ER asap.... the ER doctor gave me 25mg of Hydroxyz Pam for my full blown panic attacks its working very well so go to the doctor its the only way its gonna stop if you go because its easy when people say just control it but i know its hard to control and very scary went to the ER today i just couldn't take it anymore
I had gotten EKG and Scans etc you name it. Its all anxiety. But iam already seeing a Psychiatrist and iam Taking xanax and Lexapro been 2 months.

I feel your sadness. I have panic disorder and plsd. I also have been feeling a little depressed on/off recently. I Never know how I'm going to feel from one hour to the next. So many reasons that have caused this but the main one was wen my daughter had two strokes that caused brain damage at the age of 17months old. She has done amazing since and to look at her you wouldn't know she had brain damage unless you knew Wat happened.
I found the more I panicked the worse I felt but it helped nothing!
Panicking us like walking around with an umbrella waiting for the rain to come. All it does is cause u emotional pain and as u know stress will increase blood pressure if ur highly stressed frequently.
Have you tried breathing techniques?
I always thought breathing techniques was a bunch of baloney but they really work esp once u find the o e that works for you - it's important not to give up looking for one that suits you. Esp as there are so many.
I find visualisation breathing techniques help me the best when I'm panicked .,

Thank you very much! I love brwathing techniques. Iam on meds and they do help but you know you will always have that "OneDay" iam teying not to stress too much iam done living in Fear.
I hope you feel soon. Ask your doctor if you can take Escitalopram, it may help you stop anxiety.
Sorry you are feeling like this. I've been doing great lately and then I had an anxiety attack on Saturday. Fortunately to did lead to a full blown panic attack like in the past.
I realised I'd missed my check-in points and also hadn't done my relaxation exercise last week. So I am back doing my morning relaxation and evening medication exercises, as well as setting my phone alarm to remind me to so my self check very 2 hours.
I take a minute to check that I feel okay and that there is nothing make me feel stress or anxious. If there is I have positive affirmations that I am working with at the moment at help me to remember I am a good person and that I can cope and I am doing much better now that I was 6 months ago.
I hope you slept well and that you have the anxiety under control again. Panic attacks are awful I hated the heart palpitations that mine caused. Each time I get one I remind myself that I coped and got it under control last time and I go through the routine of slowing my breathing down and focusing on set statement that I have. I always remind to tell myself that the palpitations are part of the panic attack and that I am in good health because of all the tests I have had in the past year.
Hope you are able to get them under control.

Do you look up on the internet about things to calm you ,, I did it at my worst & read a lot about magnesium ., I take a half a spoon in lemon water in powder form every morning & do not know weather it's coincidence but I feel my anxiety has gone, I also gave up any alcohol., but I feel good & sleep really well now., read about it worth a try ! You sound like myself I fear a lot which cause me to stress a lot i lost a total of 30 lbs in 1 month YES LITETALLY because of the different tragic me going on in life and my break up with my Bf of 14 years . I cause the things that happen in my life to over take my life and make me live in fear ..
Always remember you were built to OVERCOME FEAR . It's a state of mind FACE YOUR FEARS no matter what it takes Anxiety can overwhelm us think about it Why let something worry you that may NEVER HAPPEN . Take each problem one step at a time not before it happens EXERCISE DAILY EAT YOUR GREENS MEDITATE and concentrate on the POSITIVE THINGS . And can only take things 1 day at a time . TOMMOROW HAS ITS OWN PROBLEMS.
BTW IM 23 years old . And always fought with mind battling thoughts since. Childhood 😔😔
