buspirone

I was just given buspirone to try. I'm not a huge fan of medication. I was wondering if anyone else try this? And bad side effects? Did it help? Thank you!

I was prescribed the same medication. I haven't started it yet because I have a fear of meds.

I have a fear of meds too!!! I'm scared they will make me worse or kill me . I'm kinda nervous to take it...

Hi natejohnson, well it won't kill you, which leaves, will it make you worse? If we are going the "what if" route.... what if it makes you better? It's worth trying or you are stuck where you're at and that's not a pleasant place to be.

ive just actually stopped buspirone

it did make me feel a little better and i tolerated it longer than anything else

but i was getting mild chest pains (which i put down to thyroid) it was actually a side effects of the buspirone (i then started getting paranoid)

normally i get a racey heart and shortness of breath as a side effect from any of the other meds ive tried

give them a go, i found they helped allmost instantly
