Buspirone

Has anyone taken Buspirone for their anxiety? My daughter has just been prescribed it and I have never heard of it. Just wondering if it worked for anyone and if they had any problems with it.

It helped me a lot. It made me less anxious. For years it was helpful to me. I could even take it while pregnant; it is that safe. It helped me until i was given too high of a dose and I experienced negative side effects like feeling really dizzy and strange. I went off of it, later to go back on again at a low dose but it made me feel absolutely terrible.

I mostly hear good things about buspar. Best to you and your daughter! 💕

Helped quite a bit. No major side effects like the SSRIs. Easy to titrate up and down. Really like this med. I noticed great results.

I've taken it for about three years without any problems. Before that I was taking Cymbalta but switching to Buspar helped in managing my anxiety better. Buspar (Buspirone) is supposedly better for anxiety than SSRI's from what I was told.

I was prescribed Buspar when it first came out and it worked wonders for my anxiety. I had a Dr. take me off it...said there were better meds available. I tried 4-5 different ssri's and none worked as well as Buspirone. I am thankfully, once again, taking it and it still works far better than any of the alternatives

I am taking buspirone, it is a non-narcotic anxiety medication, and it is super safe.
