Twitching eye

My anxiety hasnt been too bad lately but i got a twitch on my eyelid and this is my third day with it. Its not painful but it is annoying and making my eyes feel heavy and tired and now maling me feel anxious and i can feel my breathing changing woth panic. Does anyone else get any twitching?

Yes misht, it is common whether you have anxiety or not. Sometimes it's a sign of eye strain. The fact that your eyes feel heavy and tired makes it sound like eye strain either from reading too much, computer, phone etc. The twitching of the eyelid is not serious but maybe it's time for an eye exam.

It's just a nervous tic then. When we have anxiety, every part of our

body is affected.

Hi dear, I just checked it out and it does say that it is not coming from the eye lid

but from stress or strain of the eye itself. Dehydration also can cause twitching...

I once had a twitch in my eye everyday for about a month and this was before I ever had anxiety it went away and this was years ago I think it was due to lack of sleep. It's nothing to worry about just annoying like you said. Don't pay too much attention to it.
