Hey everyone , Although I’m not bothered about the cause ( as I’ll start to worry ) I’m wondering if anyone else has had eyelid twitching for 3-4 weeks before ? It’s rather annoying and I’m told they are common for stress and anxiety but nothing seems to say how long they can last ? Anyone experienced this please and did it eventually go away ??

Eye lid twitching
Hi! I’ve had this before but not consistently for as long as you’ve had it. I would probably see a doctor if I were in your shoes, but I’m pretty sure you already have and the only other thing I could probably chalk it to up be is maybe a deficiency in vitamins. I’m not totally sure but I know that lack of sleep, anxiety, And maybe like, vitamin deficiencies could be the cause. But, I know how annoying it could be I only get it every so often. I hope it subsided soon
Hi I’ve had eye lid twitch on and off for 5 month doc puts it down to anxiety insomnia and dry eye. I have eye drops which help
I struggled with this a couple of times when I was particularly stressed and anxious, it lasted a few days and subsided, I’ve not had it for a while now. X
I’ve had it off and on since high school. One episode lasted for over a month.
It happens to me every once in a while and they are extremely annoying. I've had them for about 4 years and it's like an on and off thing. I don't know if they go away permanently but if they do I would love to know how.

My left eye has been consistently twitching for about 8-9 weeks now. It's not all day, but enough to be annoying. Finally went to the eye doctor and he wasn't concerned at all...he stated it was from lack of sleep (been sleeping horrible for about a year now), stress, anxiety and he stated my dry eyes don't help the situation. Nothing was wrong with my eye according to him - go get it checked out and ease your mind, helped me a lot.
