Chills / cold back

Hi I'm having a very strange sensation. I've a shivery back. I feel cold and it's making my anxiety even worse. I'm so so frightened it's something sinister. I don't have a temperature or cold. Does anyone else experience this as an anxiety symptom? My anxiety is particularly HIGH the last few days so it may be that? Anyone? please?

Hi Will,  I get the same thing from anxiety.  Like a cold chill goes through me, others may experience sweating and hot flashes.   Nothing to worry about.  Put something warm around your shoulders to relax you.  You will be okay..

Thanks Agora. It just feels like my back is chilly and cold. And the anxiety OMG!  As long as I know it's just an anxiety symptom -that helps

Will, that's the whole answer in a nutshell.  Knowing that it's anxiety causing this stress release will help that chill go away.  Knowing and believing have to go hand in hand.  It wouldn't hurt to place a sweater in the dryer for a few minutes and put that on.  It will not only take the inner chills away put also calm your anxiety.

Thanks again agora very kind of u. I have it again (a couple of times today) and now again this evening. And I "know" in my head (well I think I do) that it's anxiety but I'm getting really anxious now. 😢

Will, I have it right now.  So I know exactly what you are saying except I'm not afraid.  I'm about to throw a sweater in the dryer for a few minutes, put it on and make a cup of decaf coffee.  It's the little capillaries that are tight from our muscle tenseness and body temp goes haywire.  It's not serious as I've said before just not comfortable.
