Getting the best of me

Okay so I had a CT scan of my head done in March and it it came back normal. But I can't stop thinking that I have a tumor in my brain. Is it possible to have one grow so quickly since thn ? I know it's my anxiety making me think this but I can't shake it

Hey I once not that long ago I worried sick about having a brain tumour, was totally convinced I had one and now... I'm fixated on something else. Now I'm worrying about my heart. It's called health anxiety and it's what it does. It proves its all in the head because one you stop fixating on it, the worry disappears. Also you have been checked and things like that don't develop quickly at all. So you have nothing to worry about. You are ok :)

Thank you for responding. Sorry you're going through this anxiety nightmare too. I was over it for awhile but now it's got me worried again since now I'm dealing with headaches and dizziness. Anxiety is such a nightmare, I just so badly want to be normal again.

Yeah I know I do the same I forget about it for a while then suddenly there are the symptoms again. You know the brain is a very powerful thing. It can create things that aren't really there, that's what anxiety symptoms are all about. Headaches and dizziness is by far one of the most common symptoms of anxiety. so again it is ok and once you learn to tell yourself that you will begin to feel better :)

So true. My thoughts drive me crazy sometimes. So glad I found this website, you all help out so much. Praying for all of us to get better.

I don't know what to tell you, but maybe take time to breath and relax, it is probably just anxiety that is just putting unwanted thoughts in your head and I hope you feel better and that it's nothing 😊

I was taking meclizine for my vertigo and dizziness but it made me so sleep and caused real bad headaches.

Depending what is the cause of your dizziness, the meds may be making it worse.  My ENT said the meds suppress vestibular function so, if that's already damaged you won't get relief & may even feel worse.

I just want to cry I never no if it's real r in my head ... suppose it cud be all the worryin catchin up on me .. I duno about the feelin really warm tho 😂

You're probably just over worrying. I know that is what drives me crazy most of the time. We have to try to keep ourselves busy and our mind from wondering.

Yes, it's very hard.  I find myself worrying a lot even when I try to think of something else, it all goes back to stressing about my anxiety symptoms.
