A lump in my throat

So I'm feeling much much better today thankfully. But i have this weird, sharp type lump in my throat. I drink water and I feel it going down and then it comes up. And when I swallow food its a little hard to keep the food down. Also, my appetite has somewhat decreased. What do i do about this?

Anything could of done that to your throat drinking hot tea/coffee.. I burnt the top of my mouth last week its still sore.. or a sharp edge of an Apple , and it probably has you off food because it uncomfortable!

It usually comes and goes and I haven't had anything burning my throat and stuff. I have read people with anciety form anxiety lumps in throats and stuff.

Hello mrsherondale, Ive only just joined this community. Wondering if your symptoms could possibly be from acid reflux. This doesn't always give you heartburn, but can often cause symptoms like you describe. Might be a good idea to talk to your GP about this.

Stress and anxiety can make acid reflux worse as it makes the stomach more acid.

Ikr. The lumps comes and goes. And you wonder how the he'll can anxiety even cause this?
