Lump in throat
Babyexx, you are the third person in the last 10 days to post with this symptom, it is a very common symptom of anxiety, I had it 20 years ago myself, it even has a medical description Globus Hystericus. It cannot harm you and will eventually pass, you can hasten its passing by ACCEPTING it for the time being knowing it is of no seriousness. If you continue to stress about it this will probably delay its passing. Rest assured it will pass and remember it cannot harm you, it is due to over sensitive nervous system.
Babyexx, I see that this is the second time I have answered your posting of this symptom, clearly you missed the previous answers to your previous posting.
I'm just terrified cause it's so much worse today, don't try and make me feel like shit for wanting help and hearing how other people have dealt with it. I'm scared and I don't know what to do expect from give up
I'm not trying to make you feel like shit, Babyexx, you're managing to do that all yourself. I'Ve tried to help you by replying to both your first and second postings with an explanation and reassurance, from your second identical posting I gathered you had missed the replies that I and others gave to your first. If you see this as someone trying to make you feel like shit I will of course trouble you no further.
Gosh I have that symptom right now as we speak it comes and goes for me but from 2 days ago it's constant and very annoying and scary I see why your worried but it will soon pass if you try not to think about it I know it's easier said than done but you will be fine if it's causing you such distress maybe visit your doctor for peace of mind but I'm experiencing this symptom at the moment and I'm just trying not to think about it hope you get well soon and the symptom subsides for you
Caits xx
Thank you so much, it's just so terrifiying, I feel like something's wrong, like something's jammed there and I feel like I can't breathe even though I can, it's so hard
...... hi Babye my sis anxiety symptoms appeared different from mine... even though we both had PTSD, anxiety etc ... but with my sis anxiety she always stated she could not swallow ... lump in throat as described by her too ... so don't worry about it ... it's just another nuisance symptom of anxiety .... sip small amounts of water through straw .... ease the feeling a little, but you will be ok you know .. god bless ❤️
