I have a terrible fear of sleeping at night. I've suffered from sleep paralysis in the past but it doesn't happen any more. I just can't sleep at night. I feel so uncomfortable in my skin but I have to sleep at night and tonight I tried. I really did but I woke up and I couldn't feel my legs and had a stomach ache. Whenever I try to sleep at night I wake up scared out of my mind. Can someone please help eith this?

Try to listen to calming music, or like the sound of a thunderstorm or rain... Practice breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Lift your shoulders as you breath in,count to ten, then slowly lower your shoulders while breathing out your mouth... Repeat, do this while you listen to some music that relaxes you.... Hope you can get some sleep, don't worry you'll be okay...
Also, try flexing your entire body, squeeze your legs and arms. Hold the flex for a few seconds, then slowly start to relax your body, this helps get rid of tension and stress on the body.... Just try these exercises they really help with relaxation and easing body tension... You'll get through this...
I'll try this thank you it's just I can't feel my toes and legs and I get scared the life is leaving me so I don't flex and I get terrified.
Sorry you are having this problem. Have you tried a sleep apnea doctor? This might help. Maybe you are not getting enough air when you are sleeping.
