Anyone get this
They are called heart palpitations. Try a cough or blow into your hand. That tends to reset the heart.
I went to the doctor about it he said he thinks Iv got Extrasystoles .. I have palpations every single day it's annoying
I have them as we speak and .most of the day they are annoying and scary but just check your pulse in your next and breathe nice easy breaths in the nose out the mouth
I try take deep breaths and calm down. Is there no way you can get rid of palpations
I know I'm going to see a cardioligst in March so far away. When I have palpations they make me out of breath and nasty chest pains
Hi I get those quite a lot, my doctor says that why I get quite dizzy. The massive thump you feel is the excess build up of blood so it thumps hard to clear the excess load. It is scary. I've lent to live with them and like all the other replys they will go away when you stop worrying about them
I'm getting really stabbing pains in my heart.. I just don't understand why I get them everyday. My heart is racing but it's like it pauses then makes a massive thump keeps doing it every minute
It's hard because evertything gets labeled with anxiety and it's hard to be completely sure! If your really worried and if it's causeing you pain hun then I would go to emergencey department if anything to be on the safe side. Then if everything's ok least u will know next time it happends that you was checked before when this was happening so you can tell your self you are ok.
We all now how anxiety can trick us into thinking the worst but that doesn't mean we have to write our selves off completely. Hope this helps x
I know this is what I get scared of everyone just saying its anxiety when really I have a heart condition or something no one will ever know I could be having a heart attack. I really don't want to go the a n e Luton and Dunstable hosptial as I find them really unhelpful I was really crying couple months ago and went into th hospital with chest pain and I was crying my heart out saying I didn't wanna be here no more because I didn't want to feel like this. All they said was oh well not our problem and just sent me on my way, but if I ring 111 which is out of hour doctors which I did the other day they told me to go straight to the hosptail after I describe my symptoms. I really am fed up now. What can I do I'm just going to lay here and just die 😔😔
It could be something as simple as having a deficiency or an electrolyte imbalance. Go to your local drug store and purchase Magnesium take 1 tablet a day and try pedialyte ( it is found in the infant section at any store) it is a drink that is given for dehydration. Drink (2) 1cup fulls a day. In the next couple days you should see relief. You can also try to massage your carotid artery. With your 1st and middle finger gently massage your carotid (on left side of neck) That helps bring you out of palpitations. I would definitely recommend seeing your physician as well. Anxiety can cause PVCs and can also exacerbate cardiac issues, if there are any. So, the best way to know is to be evaluated. I hope this helps you.

Palpitations sounds like. Anxiety will do it to you. I had it years ago, did testing everything was fine. Doctor put me on Xanax within a couple days it was gone.
Get them too. No fun but everything I've read about them says they are very common with anxiety
&& not dangerous (: just uncomfortable
Hi, I'm sorry you are feeling so bad at the minute, I have had palpatations and fluttering in my chest for over 6 months, then I started feeling dizzy and finally got chest pain. I went to A&E who did blood tests and an ECG which didn't find any abnormalities. I also had a chest X-ray. I was sent home and then went to my normal doctor who said I had a fast heart rate and put me on beta blockers which made me feel weird. Two months later, I finally agreed to taking Citalopram to see if they would ease some of the symptoms and funnily enough within 3 weeks most of the fluttering and heart hiccups have stopped. They only happen when I feel under stress. I know this is a long post but I wanted to share that a lot of us understand the awful symptoms you are experiencing. It would be very unlikely that it is a heart condition but always best to check then try and put other coping mechanisms in place such as meditation and yoga which will help you relax and should alleviate the symptoms. Good luck
