Iv`e been reading some very scary stuff about benzodiazapine use & brain damage. I`m now very frightened because I was hooked on these drugs in the 1980`s. I took the drugs thinking that they were totally safe, & now I`m wondering if i have brain damage as a result, & that I`ll end up with alzheimers or some other form of dementia. Is there any way of finding out without a brain scan?
