Hi I have been taking
I've been on Mirtazapine for nearly 2 years and now slowly tapering off. Was on 30mg, and last night I went down to 15mg. I'm afraid this was one of many reasons for me to come off. The constant drowsiness for me has never gone away. Even after 10 hours sleep, I'm still tired. Hope it improves for you.
Hi mornings are always worst times for anxiety. I'm always terrible in morning when I'm having a bad spell. Chances are your medication hasn't kicked in yet after 5 days. You'll start to feel a lot better after around 2 weeks..stay strong x
Well, personally I have been on mirtazapine for 7 months, they are good for getting a good nights sleep, but can give you some really scary nightmares and they are so scary,I wake up in a very panicked state and it takes a while to calm down before I can hopefully get back to sleep.they are also well known for increasing your appetite,I've put weight on since I started on them last January!! On the whole, they do help with my depression, but I have severe anxiety and have to take bisoprolol and diazepam to calm things down in the daytime,so the anti-depressant effects are only short lived,I'm sorry to sound so negative, but they are not the wonder drug that I was led to believe by my consultant last January when I was prescribed them by her.Have you also noticed they also cause brain fog?
I was on this drug once but had to come of I felt so awful, wouldn't Go on it again
