Constant gagging and retching ruining my life?

Within the past few weeks I've had a constant feeling in my throat as though I'm going to start gagging. It's awful!! I've actually dry heaved multiple times. I don't think it's caused by anxiety, but anxiety makes it worse. I'm a 15 year old girl and it's ruining both my social and academic life. I've had to miss school because of it. Right now I'm on 5mg of Abilify, 60mg of mirtazipine, and 100mg (I think) of zoloft. I have also been burping a lot and have terrible acid reflux. Has anyone felt this before? It is seriously ruining my life. I can't go a day without living in fear of actually vomiting (I have emetophobia). Help!!!

HI Izzy, Firstly can I just say that at 15 you are below the age limit for this site, due to the nature of posts and information people share. health unlocked state in the guidelines that you must be 16 or older to join. You seem to have a lot of medications you are taking so I assume you are under the care of a doctor who knows your situation. It maybe best due to age to go back and seek medical advice so you know what is causing the problem x Donver

I have the same thing but I've had it since the 3rd grade. I'm turning 16 in a couple of days and I still haven't figured it out. I always just have to carry like candy or salt. Salt helps with gagging the most. I don't have any leads on how to stop it, but at least I know now I'm not the only one!
