But it really isn't working....I had an okay morning. Wasn't too panicky...lunchtime came had my lunch and then boom I felt horrendous.
I left work at 6 and had the biggest heart thud in the street, felt it right up my windpipe.
I'm in seeing my niece just usually I love it but I've had a further 2 thuds and I just feel like I don't know what to do. Everytime I breathe I can feel a pain right down my windpipe into my heart area.
I'm really convinced I'm done for...chest pain...dizziness. I could throw myself out the window with how crappy I feel right now

Hi Ashley x I know its hard but it is just the anxiety flaring up x The feeling of your heart thudding up your windpipe is the adrenalin, and the loud thuds are the adrenalin making your heart work faster and harder x The more you think about it the worse it will seem, but it will pass as it has done before. Try to keep calm or take your mind off it x Or chat on here to us all x Donver xx

Hey Donver
Thanks you....I've panicked more today I think cause I've felt weird to the point where I felt like I wasn't in the room when people where talking to me...sort of like I was in day dreaming kind of thing. Don't know if that makes sense?
Hi Ashley , I hope you are feeling a bit better now, what you describe as not feeling like you was in the room, and like a bit of a dream, I get that, indoors and out, not all the time though, but it is horrible and disturbing, its the main one out of all my symptoms that i have a job to cope with, I think its called depersonalisation, and is an anxiety symptom, try to ignore it an carry on if it happens again, as im told it does pass, with giving it as little attention as possible. and its the brains way of protecting you hopefully someone can explain it better two you that i can
That is exactly it...I don't think I've ever had it before and it was scaring the life out me. It's good to know it's just part of the anxiety xx
Hi Ashley
You are not done honestly , I know it feels like it but seriously you will still be here tomorrow
Oh I so wished I could show you in years to come that you will still be about & looking back on this telling people what is was like when you were suffering but how you came through it because you will
The thuds are like panic attacks , I have had them & they have took my breath away & stopped me doing what ever I have been doing at the time & the more I would panic I would feel them
I know when you have been feeling ok its even a bigger shock but in between the adrenalin is still going round even at times when we feel calm
Sending hugs

Hey you
I do sound silly when I say I'm done for I can almost hear my rational side laughing away at me saying "how silly do you sound"
I just wish I didn't panic so much. I used to be quite strong minded I really need a bit of that right now.
I actually tried that berocca drink today...maybe my body didn't agree with it lol xx

The berocca drink
Maybe it was that , but I know you & that heart will be here for a long time to come
berrocc has a high caffeine content.. be careful with this kind of drinks. once I drunk some " kick" and had a mega panic attack and thought I would die ! green tea is much safer
Hey chicken sorry you're having a crap afternoon/evening but you are not done for promise. I know its hard you just need to try and breath through it.
