Hi meg I'm sorry uve had a bad end to a nice relaxing day. Carm ur self down and have a nice warm bath that always helps me. Wen I have a panic attack now i still panic we can't help it. I do try and over ride the negative thoughts and tell myself it's a panic attack and it can't hurt me. Sometimes it works sum times it doesn't I'm still working on that. Try & sit & take some deep breaths in & slowly let then out

When you are feeling calmer a nice warm drink maybe

I know it leaves you shaking & crying but it will pass & we all understand & are sending you positive thoughts :-)

I've had an attack today as well...but mine was not due to panic. Struggling to shake of costochondritis at the moment, making deep breathing impossible due to spasms of chest pain...shallow breathing led to panic attack - haven't had one for a while...just knowing exactly what caused mine and being able to trace it from start to finish made all the difference...clear thinking clear breathing...hope you feel better quickly
