Hi bramble. A little bit different as I've only had meds 2 days but had a very bad night last night. Rang gp and he has given me 7 days sleeping pills to help whilst my meds kick in. Not sure if this helps but thought I'd share it with you. X

I have a meds fear , so useless at answering these questions , but I hope you are feeling better

Hi bramble what time of day do you take ur meds as I find it easier to take mine in the morning as if I took them at night I was never able to sleep. Imonsertraline. Ido sometimes get light headed when taking my meds but it usually wears off after a few days. I hope yourok bramble. Xxxx

I also suggest you take them in the morning. I am on sertraline and my sleep pattern is terrible. Unless I take nytol I do not sleep. The other problem is this type of medication takes a long time to get int your system

how is your sleep,i am really struggling

I don't sleep, I normally have nytol and a glass of whiskey, but it doesn't always work. Most of the time i feel exhausted. I am permanently stressed and I don't function very well. I can't see any end to it. Hope your meds kick in soon

Mixing sleeping pills with alcohol is a recipe for disaster. Zopiclone is a very effective sleeping tablet. If it doesn't work on its own then mixing it with alcohol will certainly not help. The same is true of mixing alcohol with any other sleeping aid. Zopiclone comes in two different sized tablets - 3.75mg or 7.5mg. If you take the smaller dose and it doesn't work, try the higher dose. If that doesn't work you need to go back to your GP. Under no circumstances take more than 7.5mg in any 24hr period. Zopiclone and similar sleeping tablets should only be taken for short periods.

hi thought a couple of drinks would make ot more sadating

Zopiclone should work, nytol is only herbal, so is not very strong. I wouldn't drink and take zips lone. Best to take it 30 minutes before you go to bed. Good luck

Wouldn't mix zopiclone with alcohol, nytol is only herbal
