I suffer from social anxiety, ocd, generalised anxiety and health anxiety, I worry a lot which is probably to do with the anxiety, I am the picture of health on the outside, on the inside however I am a nervous wreck.
Like everyone else probably, some days I'm not too bad, other days not so good, I am really interested in finding alternative ways of helping with my anxiety, I have recently taken up yoga, and started exercising more in general, I read yoga helps relax your mind and body amongst other things and exercising in general makes you feel better and look better so can give confidence that way, helps take my mind off my anxiety and worries as well which is another good thing. I am interested in any herbal remedies but have yet to come across any and also
If anyone has any experience with any natural herbal remedies or had success with hypnotherapy please let me know. Xx

Apart from marajuana I think your already doing the right things.
Excercise I would say has been one of my best finds. I don't go to the gym but bought a Pilates machine for home and use it EVERY night for just 30mins. I've looked for yoga classes but non fit in around my work schedule. Being in better shape and eating better increases self esteem which is good medication for any anxiety sufferer.
I don't have faith in herbal, it's money wasted for me. I think the fact you're searching for a fix and have a positive attitude is all the herbal you need.
Hi loubie,I use rescue remedy during the day and the night one for sleep, both are good,yo could also try valerian,st johns wort,or 5htp,google natural remedies there are loads to choose from, depending on your ailment.but if your on any other meds be careful with herbal stuff.the rescue remedy range can be taken with perscription meds,.I am constantly looking for a natural remedy fr my anxiety and depression too, seems a better way to go,keep posting and if you find a good one let us all know.xxx
Valerian herbal tea is good for making you sleepy. Camomile and lemon balm are also excellent teas to relax you. I've stopped drinking 'ordinary' tea since my anxiety started a couple of months ago and it has made a big difference. Now I start the day with green tea and then it's just redbush, camomile and peppermint!
