Sertraline/ Zoloft continual tingling??

I have been on 25mg Zoloft for a week. Today 5am I woke up with tingling all in my hand and stiff arm. I thought I had just slept on it weirdly and it would sort itself out. But it's been tingling constantly all day. Could this be due to the Zoloft? I heard tingling is a side effect but it's constant, for 8 hours now

Hello. I took sertaline for many years although it didn’t really help my anxiety too much. I didn’t get a tingling with that but I believe it can be a die effect. I was on amitriptyline and since then I have muscle twitching and tingling in my calves for weeks. Had bloods done and it isn’t my B12 etc. wasn’t sure if it was a sign of anxiety. I hope it soon feels better. Yours does sound like you’ve slept funny on it. I have had that before There are so many side effects wi the some meds x

I am sorry to hear you're experiencing the weird sensations. I can't tell for sure whether it's related to sertraline or not. When I started taking sertraline in January I was having all kinds of symptoms related to clonazepam withdrawal so I couldn't tell which drug was causing what sensations. Best wishes
