hello. I haven’t posted yet in 2025. I started Cymbalta and it seemed to help as I went from weekly anxiety to none in 2025. Today the trigger was going to the auto dealer with my car for a problem that keeps occurring. For some reason, I started into a mild anxiety attack which has continued for over an hour now. I think I’m sensitive to the car use because I was involved in a bad accident last year this week that totaled my car at the time that was only 3 days old. As a result I had to replace that car with the one I have just a week later. I feel cheated because I liked my other car better but could not get the exact model. The one I have now has had problems since I first got it unfortunately. I’m hoping I can ride out this attack and not get into another cycle. Thanks much.

Keep breathing long, slow breaths. You can do it. Sounds definitely like a trigger situation. Sorry about the troubles you had with the car accident and now this. That stinks. Thinking of you.
I’ve been on Cymbalta for 17 years. I’ve tried other anti-depressants but it works the best. I still have anxiety sometimes. Slow, deep breathes. I’ve heard when you’re having a panic attack to focus on spelling words backwards. It takes your mind off panicking.
Thank you.
