My situation a few months ago was very similar to yours. I had a positive Cologuard test for blood. I had to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I was, like you, frantic with worry. It turned out to be diverticulosis, which is very common and not terribly serious. You should try to have the tests as soon as possible, as that is the only way you will be able to relieve the worrying. Also, since you were dizzy, it is a good thing the doctor is fully investigating, as this can be related to blood loss. Schedule the tests and let us know the outcome.

These tests are a pain in the neck, but are otherwise not really that difficult. They are also not painful. The best way to cope is to get them done as soon as possible. x

thank you for your reply, should be within the next 10 days , hope I can survive that long , feeling a real wuss. Other people must be stronger than I am. Glad your results are ok

Great that it is within the next 10 days. Anybody would be very anxious, even though there are a number of less serious things that could be going on. I would normally suggest taking tranquilizers while waiting, but since you are experiencing dizziness that is probably not a good idea. I cannot tell you how anxious I was while waiting for my tests, so you are not a "real wuss." x

Hi

It's ok to be nervous, we would all feel that way.

I wonder how low those blood counts were... not asking for results... just thinking if you had symptoms why they wouldn't take you in right away.

It's hard not to think of worst case scenario

I hope you get in soon

only symptom was dizziness, she said they have to do tests first to see where Iam bleeding from, after the fit test was positive. I have never seen blood

Dizziness and fatigue can be a sign of low blood counts. I'm not a doctor but I have had blood transfusions in the past during a pregnancy. So I know the feeling.

I hope they get you in soon so that you know what's going on.
