Yes I suffer from this as well. It is absolutely terrible in the morning. I don't even want to get out of bed. I have no energy whatsoever.

It seems to get worse instead of better. Not sure how to get out of this.

I was also feeling very low in the morning after waking up, and having some thoughts. It's like you never have any decent sleep like forever.

Yes, I do too. The morning and early afternoon are the worse for me.

Morning and right before bed. Easiest times for me to get lost in my own mind and wander to places I should not be. It's too quiet in my home and too loud in my brain

usually depression and anxiety are there in the morning. It’s hard to break out of a morning depression, it usually takes up most of the day.

I find my depression is so much worse in the morning. It is so bad that I worry about it while trying to fall asleep

Yes, but what helps me is to have a set morning routine and before you know it inspite of my anxiety and tiredness, I've gotten dressed and eaten my breakfast and then as I go about my daily activities my stress lessons and my energy gradually returns.

Yes. Mornings are the worst for me too. I don't want to get out of bed.

Know this feeling too well, I've been taking magnesium and also spatone liquid iron, this has given me a little bit more energy in the morning. Also practicing mindfulness trying to focus on the now, and not get caught up in past/future thoughts. (It's easily said than done! )I've got headspace app and try practice breathing exercises.

Also doing some emotional healing to find out where is this sadness coming from.

Journaling is so good. And looking into spirituality helps soo much aswell.

Law of attraction for example, energy frequency that you vibrate at matches you to experiences, people, situations that are on the same energy frequency. The idea is to match your energy with the energy of what you want.

There are alot of self help books available.

"The secret" is a really good book I would recommend.

All the best.x

I sometimes suffer from this as well. I made a routine schedule to follow and it has helped me get out of morning depression. The routine schedule keeps my mind from wondering, you should try it.

Yes, I sometimes come out of my sleep feeling almost terrified and it's hard to get it to go away. I don't know how else to describe it. Other mornings, I wake up feeling wary but try to get busy with something to distract myself and it helps. This "new" world we're living in doesn't help either.

this is called diurnal depression. Your circadian rhythms are off. I bought a light that I sit next to for 45 mins in the morning. My mood has greatly changed. I got it on Carex.

Hi Catsuit, 53 , I can relate, what I try to do is look at my Calander before I go to bed and think of what I have planned for the next day try to have something planned. I also listen to the Calm app and exercise a little while laying in bed. I don't know if you have heard of ageless grace. It is a wonderful exercise program that you do sitted down and they are offered at local library's for free. It not only works your body but your brain and exercises are for strengthining your joints, so you don't fall and help with your memory. They also offer chair yoga and tai chi, Find something that interests you, I have a part-time job one day a week. I have always loved playing Scrabble and I found a club that I joined and it really helps me feel looking forward to something that I love to play. I also just joined a softball team , I also loved playing softball but haven't played in 40 years. I found a league on line that had no age limit since I am 69. My favorite position is pitching and my team is thrilled to have me pitch. I didn't loose my skill which makes me feel terriffic! It is only one time a week but again when I look at my calander I look forward to some kind of event. I hope this helps you. I suffer from MDD and anxiety and PTSD . I have a wonderful hypnotherapist and also I recently tried Cranial Sacrum massage therapy. WOW! what an incredible experience.!

Hope any of these ideas helps you. I have never been the same after having a breakdown but I keep trying. I hope you do too please

Couldn’t agree more with everyone here - mornings are absolutely brutal for me - can’t even get out of bed sometimes (just want to hide) . Mood generally improves a bit but as others have stated, evenings are also challenging. I would love to break this cycle with more intel from this community!

Definitely. My morning routine is get up, feed the cats, then back in the recliner until early afternoon. At that time I try to muster up any energy I have and begin to function.
