feeling anxious and depressed 1 year after ditching the booze

Hi, after 1 year alcohol free, I was expecting to feel great but find myself feeling anxious and/or depressed much of the time. Life is good in most areas so I can't fix things by simply improving my finances, relationships, health...looking forward to learning from others in the community.

Well done you for ditching the booze, a great achievement, keep up the good work. Feelings of depression and anxiety does come over us in waves, but stay with it, you will come out the other side.
