My cats name is 'Betty the Bold'.... it says it all. She keeps me company, snuggles, and sleeps with me. She was a rescue baby, we brought her home from abandonment...someone threw her away in a preschool parking lot, and she spent her first couple of months being thrown out the door of the preschool...and grabbed by the little ones which traumatized her...so yes...I have a cat with PTSD around being picked up, and she isn't a lap cat....I can pick her up, but it's very gently and I hold her close so she won't panic. I respect her boundaries and she is mad about getting pets and combings....plus lots and lots of snuggles.

My cats name is Fat Kitters. The name says it all. A dear friend named him that years ago. His “real” name is frisbee. He is 18 lbs! A big huge fur ball. He’s more keen on my S.O. Than me. He sleeps next to him every night.
