Cursed all my life! Thought I had made it after 68 years, retirement, proposed sale of house, good price, even prospective new one, my last?

I have been disabled all my life, cursed at ten years old, saw a ghost, the "White Lady", few days later my grandfather died, then meningitis, after that large medical dictionary role off! Slowly my mental capacity has been battered into submission, medication, epilepsy, Schwannomatosis, a macabre horror show of a lifetime, you name it I've had it, various suicide attempts, I'm officially terminally ill, despite this I was a survivor, always a fighter, but lately put my house up for sale, my well being sister, throwing out "stuff" left right and centre [including legal, housing, banking, historical documents, personal photographs] proposed sale very generous offer, even a good prospective apartment on the horizon good for my last days, THEN I found proposed buyer, delayed appointment, WHY? then the small print a home charter form, where I had to fill in, 44 pages, of my house I've had for 21 years living on my own, type of drains, last time serviced, how many trees removed and when, NHBC [what the hell is that?] type of boiler when put in, last serviced, house renovation, when, who, water sewer [having problems with my own personal water works, bladder!], no mention of my own medical shortcomings?, 44 pages with my own memory running on 32g , one of my main reasons for moving early/late dementia, I live alone, that form has not a hope of been anyway filled in, I am going to lose my proposed buyer any HOPE of what in reality is now an empty house, I thought for once I had a break to freedom, no the usual a distinct kick in the b#####ks, and back to bleak reality! 68 years old and definitely still cursed!

I'm in the USA so not sure if this would be the same. We get this type of form... not quite as lengthy... we are to fill in only what we know. We are not to guess.

Can you ask someone about this?

I’m sooo sorry Adlon, it does seem that you have one problem after another ! Buttt your fighter , you have been through so much and you will get through this too, stay strong, in my prayers always. The sale of your house sounds like a nightmare , selling and moving is a nightmare regardless of age and abilities , I hope and pray it all goes through for you soon. Take care 🙂

Gosh poor you, how awful. Just wondering if Age UK could help - they are very good with forms and always very helpful. Or even ask at your local library. A kinky lady at ours filled in the form when a friend was applying for a Blue Badge. She did everything,chasing up medical letters etc and even posted it! You deserve help and there must be kindly souls out there only too happy to help you. I alwaysget in an absolute tizz when it comes to forms, they really should be done away with! x

I can't drive never been allowed to drive, due to health, but filling in forms my nemesis, hat the things, especially online😤 How many forests have been lost thanks to "forms"🙄

I hate forms, they drive me me to insanity, and they get more complicated as I’m getting older! Don’t even talk to me about modern technology, I’m surprised I can even access this!

It's what is called "Artificial Intelligence" we have gone too far, but now cannot do without it, that is why IF POSSIBLE, I ALWAYS have a "PLAN B" with as little AI as is humanely possible! 🙄

Just had reply back from AI, when I was looking for age of apartments, "AI Overview cannot answer this question" eventually I got the answer "built after 2000" after further questions! So much for the freedom of the internet and AI💀🕵️‍♀️ I was not even troubling AI just a general question on Google, and that turned up😈

Hi Adlon I recognise similar forms having sold a house last year. So much detail and a lot to deal with! Took me ages to fill out and I couldn't reply to all. Can you get in touch with your solicitor and explain? May depend on the buyers. Hope you can get some advice

Appropriate 'name', my sister and pulling our hair out, all the fine print, I have been writing a book for 15 years, pff! child's play, do everyone have to go through that😣😤😖💀😩😴 been in touch with solicitor, filled in a "form"🕵️‍♀️🥺🥱😵🤞 in her hands? Thought it was "nice house 🖐✋🤛🤜give us the money Cheerio! now then where's this new house🤗"🙄🙄🙄
