Although I seem to do better with my anxiety mentally it is so hard to get my body to come around. I have bad neck pain, some headaches, shoulder pain, lower back pain. Has anyone experienced it? I attended a great meditation class which helped a lot except for my terrible headache that returned after the class.

Body pain from tension
Yes, anxiety and tension all goes to my neck and shoulders. I find that laying on the floor and stretching helps. I also try to go for a massage once in a while to get the knots worked out.
I have a lot of pain in my back, neck, shoulders and jaw. I meditate daily. I try yoga and stretching. I try to be conscious about clenching my jaw and tensing my shoulders and try to relax them when I can. It's hard.
I have a lot of tension issues in my back, etc. Trying to get back on antidepressants after a few years the doctor I was seeing thought some of the symptoms I had were odd/off and sent me for blood work and tests. Turns out that I have an underlying health condition that is probably not the direct cause of my mental health issues, but is definitely a contributing factor to how my body handles it. It may be worth going to your doctor to look at if your symptoms intensify, the pain changes or gets worse, or if something just doesn't feel right. This may not apply to you at all, but it's worth mentioning in case nothing else seems to help. Good luck
Progressive muscle relaxation is very helpful for everyone, especially if you are dealing with tension. It is good before you go to sleep, good when you wake up, and good really at just about any time of day. I often use the ones on the Calm app, but there are many good free ones online. Many people, including myself are almost constantly stuck in a state of stress, but not really full stress, which can't be maintained for long. Intentionally contracting and stressing muscles individually really helps one to feel what they feel like both fully contracted and more importantly at rest and relaxed as well. I like the voice narration on this one: google.com/url?sa=t&source=...
I think it’s good you’re doing better with your anxiety 😊 I’m not sure about the body aches and pains… pls let me know if you figure anything out lol. I’ve had all of those things for a really long time and sometimes it just sucks.
I have been thinking about going back to the chiropractor because of the neck and shoulder pain. But I’m not sure if it really helps in the long run.
Yoga and stretching may help to. Hope you feel better and again I’m happy your mental well being is better 🩷
