I am really just seeking reassurance! I am suffering from severe pain behind my ear, ear pressure, tight neck muscles, headache base of skull and pain in cheek. All totally on right side only. I also have a really whooshy head. This has been going on for weeks - not continuously but almost every day. I am on sertraline and take propranolol when needed. I have times when I think it must be something really serious but sensible me knows it is anxiety and tension as it usually goes when I am distracted. The ear pressure is worst symptom. I have chronic leukaemia which was diagnosed last year and is being treated with medication. However, worry about my illness, the pandemic and then having to shield led to a mini breakdown 2 months ago - that’s when anti depressants were prescribed. I just want to break the vicious circle of worrying about these symptoms as it makes it so much worse! I never had any mental health problems until lockdown 😞 Thanks.

Tension head & ear problems
Have you considered a chiropractor ? When my neck is out of whack, I feel the same things. Or maybe a massage therapist to relax your tight muscles ? Good luck & hang in there !!
I have had this going on myself. On my left side pain that comes and goes in my cheek, sometimes pins and needles feeling really tight in the neck on that side. I have been dealing with it since April just out of the blue. Stress and anxiety can actually cause it. Plus my posture when sitting doesn’t help matters and staring down at my phone. I have been doing stretches for my neck and it has helped. You would have to do them everyday and sometimes I do it a couple times a day. You store so much tension in your neck and shoulders. Also a hot bath could help some as well
This pandemic has been creating a lot of mental health issues for many - you are not alone!
Are you able to possibly schedule a virtual visit with your general practitioner to discuss the physical symptoms? I might just be the anxiety but it’s safe to make sure and keep your doctor in the loop.
