Anyone caregiving elderly parent, anxiety bipolar

Is anyone else caregiver for elderly difficult parent, I suffer w severe anxiety and bipolar depression, caregivings very tough and I'm struggling to keep up as I have chronic pain,onto my anxiety n depression disorders making it very tough, mom's declining and I have mess on my hands w no family or help...

i’m in basically the same situation as you. I am bipolar my 90-year-old. Dad just passed away yesterday so at least my 89-year-old mom who can be a bear sometimes with certain things . it’s exhausting and but it is our job and I commend you for what you were doing especially with your challenges.

I for one was lucky or call it blessed to come across 80 to 90% relief from my depression and especially anxiety in October 2022. I was at my wits end and decided to go to a hospital and they were much more aggressive withdosages and change some things around, including getting rid of lithium that was attacking my kidney ,so it’s made it much easier for me to handle all the dynamics of my parents Lives from financial to medical and otherwise .

Lastly, I can tell you confidently , that before hospital visit I would’ve struggled mightily with trying to help my parents and keep up with my own health issues. I am praying for you and I feel for you . I wish you could find some relief like I have. It makes everything so much easier obviously. Duh, right

Much strength and praise to you, sorry bout your dad, my mom's a big handful but she's been declining after a failed knee surgery, very sad to witness....

I’m so sorry for your struggles. I too am a caregiver for my mom, who is declining. I have much anxiety and OCD. You are doing a great job! One day at a time.

I wish you much strength,and peace this is very tough time as she declines in health...tough to see them become dependent as whete used to them being the leader.....stay in touch..pita..
