Can sertraline affect the colour of your urine? I only noticed a few days ago so just wondered if this has affected anyone else like this???

I personally have not noticed any difference with mine. If you are concerned about it give your doctor a call and see what they say.

Thank you x yeah I think I will, it's possible I was just really dehydrated even though I drank 2 bottles of water today and nearly 3 cups of tea.

Usually a dark urine will indicate dehydration but if you still experience it after drinking plenty of water it is probably a good idea to contact your doctor. Tea will not hydrate you similarly to coffee they tend to do the opposite.

I am seeing blood in the urine and stronger urine from dehydration both as possible side effects. If it's pink or red, I would definitely reach out to your doctor ASAP. If it's just darker/stronger, try drinking a lot of water today and see if that helps. If not, then reach out to your doctor. Also, if you are having any other urinary side effects, you could have a UTI, so again reach out to your doctor!

I highly doubt it, I was on sertraline for a number of years and never had that kind of issue.
