Hi, I don't take sertraline, but my wife has for many years. Her main side effect was weight gain. Maybe speak to your doctor about these issues if you haven't already. There might be a different prescription that works better for you. Not to make light of anything, but an anti-anxiety medication shouldn't cause anxiety! Wish I had something more useful to offer and I hope you get this sorted out soon.

I am on Sertraline have been working my way up started at 25mg and am now on a hundred it has not helped my anxiety or depression as yet but i feel very tired from it..

I have only been on it 2 months because Venlafaxine was very unkind to me this time around..

I tried several different types years ago before i found one that helped..

Good health to you Rayann and hang in there..

Didnt do 75 it sucks cutting the 50mg up because of the shape so i spent 2 weeks on 50 have and 2 weeks on 25mg have been on a hundred a month..

I am only giving it another fortnight and if things dont improve i am going onto something else..

Typically it takes sertraline 4 - 6 weeks to take affect and make a difference. Your side affects could just be from your anxiety because you are probably hyper-focusing on your body sensations and blowing them out or proportion which is common when starting a med. I know it's hard but try to relax some and get on with your day and give your body and mind time to adjust without continually focusing on it, you'll feel better if you can.
