I feel guilty

I received an imported candy as a gift and I bought it home. My mom took it. I just pointed out that I only have one of those handmade candies and so my mom and my sister would have to share it. I feel extremely guilty about it now. My mom already feels insecure about herself and now I feel as if I have stolen food from her. I feel extremely guilty. Am I a bad person here? Was I wrong?

Please don't second guess yourself this way.

The chances you are a bad person are slim and none. Actually, its only none.

Be gentle with yourself. Peace.

You shared the gift with your Mum and sister which was a lovely thing to do so please don’t feel guilty, you could have kept it all for yourself .

As a mother, I don't understand why your mom would do that. My children's gifts are theirs, and if I want to try something, I ask and make sure they know they have the option to tell me no.

Your not a bad person and you aren't wrong.

I don't think selfish people feel guilty.
