Does anyone else feel guilty for just about everything, no matter how small the thing is? I constantly find myself feeling extremely guilty over just about everything I do, or even things that aren't my fault/I can't control.
Examples - feeling guilty that someone else had a bad day, or that I sent a text that could come across the wrong way (I over analyze everything)
If you feel this way, how do you train your mind to feel otherwise?

I feel ashamed and guilty a lot from trauma bubbling up. I’m going to try to understand more about this from my therapist and the book The Body Keeps The Score.
Yes, I totally deal with this! It’s crazy! I feel like affirmations help. It’s important for me to separate myself from the situation because it usually has nothing to do with me.
i belive it's about shame, control and emeshment, trauma, i don't know but probably you didn't have people respect your limits, so you don't know how to exist without existing everywhere xD i don't know if this makes sense, but to protect yourself you learned to take on everyone's problem, probably it's also a submissive response to life, people and situations, like feeling inferior or not with such a high status in your group/groups.
How to deal with it: first consciousness about your patterns, why do you put yourself in the situation of being guilty for everything, an inferior position, or a submissive position? because even if you feel in an inferior position, adopting those strategies, is only mantaining that feeling. I would say, try to not help people so much (don't know if you do but), and try to ask more for help, that way you will belive you can be in the center without having to take on any responsability, just being taken care of.
