Is it a new medication for you?
Yes first day of taking is my mind just playing tricks on me?
No antidepressant should affect you straight away. But I'm sure your not imagining your symptoms so maybe phone back the doctor and ask what's normal
Do you if there’s a way to calm panic attacks whilst it’s in my system I’ve had a bad reaction before on sertraline and I just don’t want to take them ever again so angry that I took it today because I never ever wanna take medication
I used to be on sertraline I didn't like them either
Talk if it helps you get over feeling panicked
Yeh I think what’s making me feel worse is that I’ve got something in my system that’s doing things and I have no control over it and I just want it out of my system so bad
I remember when I first started sertraline it took a few weeks to feel normal. I was extra anxious
Yeh a lot of people say this I just don’t have the strength to ride through it till then I don’t think my body hates side affects and stuff like that
Well if that's the way you feel then phone the doctor back there's alot of other options. I'm on mirtazapine now and apart from hunger at first I'm fine with it no other side effects
Actually not just extra anxious. Shakey and on edge it was horrible
It’s the worst and when it turns into a full blown panic attack and not just one but multiple it’s hell
hi, can I ask how you managed and how you are now? Did you stay on the meds? I’m like you, have severe anxiety and panic attacks, but I don’t want to take meds becquse im so scared of the panic that will come with knowing I’ve put something in my body. It’s a vicious circle, just an awful feeling.
Hi it can take a while
Bit curious how its going out your system
Id phone doc
Maybe need more higher dose and meds spread out 3 times a day
