I’ve worked on not being anxious and coming out of the extreme side of it and once I do I feel gross and disgusting about life I don’t like anything I own where I live and I feel like because of this I can slip back into and the cycle repeats again, anyone have any tips on how to feel happiness when you don’t like your life and don’t have the money to change it right now.

I have today spoken with my wellbeing practitioner about this because I do exactly the same thing. His response was to tell me to not fight against the feeling but to accept it and work at reducing how I feel about myself after!
I’ve been writing things down but think I need to do more often maybe twice a day!
When I'm depressed, everything in my house looks old and ugly. Colors look drab. I look awful. Then when I'm better, my house actually looks good and I do too. Which is the real one? The happy version or something in the middle?
