Chronic nausea all the day ? Vicious circle ?

Hello everyone,

I , 31 male have chronic nausea since february 2022, was an alcoholic and stopped since september 2022.

I made endoscopy, blood tests, ultrasound, ct scan, mri, fecal tests...

All came back clear, just slightly elevated cholesterol and calprotectin

My question is if i found nothing it's possible stress and anxiety (healh anxiety) induced ?

I'm very tired

My anxiety causes nausea etc. Its presented this way since I was a child

It's bothersome that it lasts all day. You did a medical workup which is great. Have you started to look into the mind/body connection

Not for the moment I'm very scared to have something like gastroparesis

Wouldn't that show in some of those tests? If not you should revisit with your GI doctor

Indirectly yes but there is a special test for that

Speak to your Dr and hopefully this can be resolved quickly

Test is programmed for next month But doctor think it's only from anxiety

I think it's always best to rule out medical first.

I would start looking for a therapist. Wait lists are long. If your tests comes out positive you can always cancel the therapist

Here in France we can have therapist pretty fast
