Feacal Calprotectin
He did a load of tests, and the stool
calprotectin
test
came back raised at 99ug. He then asked me to do a second test which came back at 197ug. He has referred me to a gastroenterologist. This has made me really nervous as to what is going to happen next. Does anyone know?

IBS Flare up
The faecal
calprotectin
test
was raised which I've had to re do but still waiting for other results. I also eliminated things that i thought made it worse, such as Dairy, Caffine and fizzy drinks. My IBS-D has calmed down, its not been as bad in the last 7days.

Lower Right Abdominal Pain
Finally, I did see a gastroenterologist last month, and then I had an ultrasound, a
calprotectin
fecal
test
, a blood test, and a CT scan with dye (with contrast) everything was clear and good my
calprotectin
test
came back with 74 points and they ruled out anything major, I explicitly asked if there

Hi, I'm currently being investigated for Crohn's. I've had bowel issues for over 20 years and always been told it's IBS. Anyway three years ago, I had my gallbladder removed and my symptoms went in to overload mode. My calprotectin levels were in the hundreds. Since then I've had three colonoscopies

IBS or something more?
Hi, this is my first post on here, and I'm just wondering if anyone can calm my anxiety and mind...For the past 4 years, I've had what I can only call unusual symptoms...bloating, passing a lot of blood from my back passage (clots included and the amount I'd pass during a heavy period), a lot of mucus

Fecal Calprotectin & CRC
Hey all, I am waiting on a colonoscopy I have scheduled for June 27th due to some symptoms and have a question for you all. Did any of you that got a CRC diagnosis have a really low fecal calprotectin score? I have been worried (as we all are) about what will be found on this colonoscopy, but I had a

Terminal ileitis
My colonoscopy found mild inflammation in the TI area which they said looked like Terminal Ileitis. Biopsies were taken but they came back normal. I haven't discussed the results with my consultant yet as I had to give in a stool sample to check the calprotectin level first. It looks like it isn't Crohn's

Calprotectin test
I recently had 2 Calprotectin tests The first one was 554 , the 2 nd is 694. What I’m asking is are those numbers particularly high ? My dr said she would refer me to a gastroenterologist ( who I’ve seen before). My guts are so sore, very loose stools. Thanks x

Calprotectin 452, Colonscopy and missing symptoms
Hi folks, I recently had a repeated
Calprotectin
test
come back as 452 (previously 72). I have extreme weight loss (I’m currently a 34 year old female, 5’4” and 43kg) and have been experiencing months of daily waking to instant intense cramping and typically unpleasant bowel movement.
