Well I have been suffering with depression and anxiety most of my life,I see a therapist and Psychiatrist,been pretty good for a decent time,came back from Florida in early january,came down with a cold,well ended up with a sinus infection so I went on predisone and antibiotics,the infection came back went to see a specialist in february,yesterday was my last dose of predison,my emotios and moods have been terrible.I had a bad night sleeping last night even though,I tapered off.Well today feel depressed.I went to yoga,I work out and do the right things,this is a beast.I never been on a forum like this,just wanted to vent.

I find this forum excellent for support and advice. I also like HeadSpace, it’s got loads of meditations etc for anxiety/depression and Calm. InsightTimer is good as well and social anxiety institute.org - it’s good, can’t remember who recommended it on this forum.
PS social anxiety institute should all be 1 word but iPad insists on making it 3 words!
Welcome to this supportive and encouraging forum. I too have had anxiety most of my life. It has become most burdensome now as I’m getting older. I make an effort to choose healthy options like exercise, nutritious foods, hydration, meditation, prayer and trying to keep negativity at bay.
We share our tools and know we are not alone. I wish you well and happy thoughts 💕

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you had a tough day. One of the other posters said that she has learned to be grateful for the good days. This is also helpful for me. It also helps if I "schedule" my days of high anxiety. I do things that make me feel productive or that give me pleasure. I stick to the schedule and then the day passes. I hope this helps.
Don’t downplay the effects of the prednisone. It’s a steroid. And mood altering. Talk to your doctor about it.
