hey guys. Me again ☹️ I have this throbbing light pain in my wrist and honestly it must sound so silly to everyone but I can’t shake the thought that it’s heart attack related because it’s left sided, it slightly travels up my arm to just below my elbow. It’s so so close to Christmas and I’m just not in the mood. I’ve not been sleeping for days, I’m exhausted. Really don’t want to have to phone the hospital but I’m so so scared.
Thankyou guys so much for listening xxx

have you not been sleeping from the thing in your arm or did it start after not sleeping?
I’m no heart attack specialist but it doesn’t sound heart related to me mostly because it’s in your wrist carpal tunnel can cause weird things in the wrist moving it wrong wearing bracelets wrong. All different sorts of things.
I know it’s hard to get your mind out of the everything left sided has to do with the heart I’m the same way
I just had a little nap on the sofa and It didn’t bother me but when I got up and started moving it around again it started to get the same feeling so I’m trying to tell myself it’s muscular 😭
so next time it stops hurting see if you can make it create the pain then you’ll know it’s muscular. I do understand the anxiety behind it though cardiophobia is big thing with anxiety. Heck I really thought I was having a heart attack last evening my heart rate was going from 110 to 150 not even doing anything besides moving slightly was in the er for like 4 and a half hours. Have the flu and they pumped me full of fluids
if the pain doesn’t go away, and travels further up the arm and shoulder, then definitely go to ER. (It could be carpel tunnel though as well if you type a lot or have wrist strain.). Keep an eye on other symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath. It’s probably nothing, just keep an eye on the symptoms and call a friend or someone close by if you’re worried about it. Good luck👍

it sounds like it’s just muscular IMO. As long as you’re aware of worsening symptoms, I think you’ll be fine. A little heat (and ice) might help as well. I’ve had 2 surgeries on both wrists due to carpel tunnel from playing piano and typing to much over the years so I definitely understand freaking about it. Hang in there and let your wrist rest as much as possible.👍
I was sitting lastnight with my head resting on my hand bent back so silly! And then today I was wrapping gifts when the pain came on!! If it’s not away by tomorrow I will probably phone out of hours to try and get reassurance to try and enjoy Christmas Day some what! Thank you for your response agora you always give me comfort! Xxx
It is most likely muscular, especially since you not having any other symptoms and the arm pain was only elbow and below. I did have a heart attack 8 years ago and had no left arm pain. I had pressure and some pain in upper chest into my jaw. Symptoms vary from person to person and are frequently different between men and women.
it’s fine when I’m sleeping and when I wake up for like the first 10 minutes it okay and then the pain again 😭 it’s not even a really bad pain but enough to make me worry! It travels up my arm sometimes but I do think it’s muscular as it’s okay when I’m relaxing! I’m sorry you went through that xx
You need to go to the ED and get checked out to put your mind at ease. At least call your doctor. It doesn’t sound like a heart attack as symptoms are much more severe but if you can’t stop worrying you are probably just making things worse by not talking to your doctor or getting checked out. Hope you are feeling better soon.
