Thinking about dropping out of college... feeling passionate and interested about something eventhough I'm depressed on some levels.....

I've been thinking about doing this for a while, now 3 semesters remaining with slot of supplementary exam I don't want to study anymore. I hate what I'm studying because it doesn't make any sense anymore. The education system is ****** which also ***** up the life's of students.

I'm starting to feel passionate about fitness and health. I want to learn more about it. Also, I've been controling my food and got result of 5 kg loss which I finds positive. I've joined gym and started to focus more about my health. Feels like this is what I want to do now or for a few years.

I'm dropping my studies because it paid, so I'm planning to save the next 3 semesters so I could use it for my expenses on this fitness field.....

So what do you guys think??

i think you should stay in school, and finish what you started. if you drop out now, all the time, money, and effort you have put in so far will be wasted. you can always work on your fitness at the same time, and even pursue it more intensely after you finish school

I don't want to study anymore. It's just that when I passed 12th grade, I'm compelled to go to college so I went. Now I don't want to study. What I took to study doesn't make sense anymore. That's why thinking of dropping. Also, I'vent paid the full amount, only half of it..

I would finish what you have paid for and get the credits.

Then I would follow my dreams. Plenty of good work in the exercise and health fields. There will be studying for that of course. But if it's a passion you will have the drive for it.

Best of luck

Oh ok... I think I misunderstood. I thought you wanted a career in fitness.

Well, the choice is yours. May I just make a suggestion?

Try and get a job at a gym. Might help you learn about the business and if you may want to down the line move into something like that.

Some people take a " gap year" we call it. A year to find your way

There's been a misunderstanding. I've taking B.A.English in college, so that what I'm dropping. After dropping it, then I'm focusing on fitness field. Also I want to travel, so I found this filed apt for it

I'm happy for you. Some people stay miserable in a field. So do what is best for you.

I totally recommend traveling too. Not sure it is in UK but get yourself on Scott's cheap travel. Even if you can't buy through the links there are great tips. Or learn (if you haven't) google flights. That is how you find the cheapest fares as long as you are not set on where to go. At your stage in life you definitely shouldn't be!

Fitness is a great field! There are so many places to go with it and the training requirements vary greatly. Have you done research in a career?

Yeah, I'm still researching. There'snt much people around me who are in fitness field, so I'm trying to gather maximum information as I can. Also, I'm focusing on my fitness. Because, I could train others only if I could train myself and get fit..

Cool. Well good luck to you then. I think now is a good time to try on different hats. It’s a journey.

Hi, I am a teacher and I will honestly tell you please finish school. What is your major? It’s important to do what you love but also being able to support yourself is important. I studied health as a hobby and still do. Studying is easier when you are younger and you have opportunities to make friendships with others. Please keep me informed.
