Hb, It's good to know where our problems come from so that we may address them

and allow them to be released from our subconscious mind. If we don't, the subconscious mind does play the day's event as well as your fears. This turns into your racy thoughts at night. I'm not experienced in sleep paralysis or seeing things in the dark. Talk with your therapist or doctor regarding these issues.

Using a form of meditation before sleeping can help put your mind at ease allowing the

racing thoughts to come to a slow stop. It takes time and practice but eventually your

mind will respond to the meditation and breathing. :) xx

True 😊

Hi Hb2003,

It's good to see that at least you come to know the cause of why you couldn't sleep.

For problems like sleep paralysis, racing thoughts, anxiety, etc you need to control your mind. Medication is the best help to calm yourself down. With medication, you can also include a healthy diet, exercise, reading books, listening to good music to your routine, these will also help you to think positively and calmly.
